Community Connection: Navigating the Community Mental Health System | East Lansing
Do you have questions about how you can help your child, loved one or yourself access the community mental health system? Maybe you would like to learn more on how the community mental health system works in general.
This event is for you if:
- You are a parent of a child or adult child with a serious mental health condition.
- You are a family member or friend of an adult or child with a significant mental health condition.
- You are a college student who wants to go into social work or public profession.

You are a social worker, teacher or administrator, in the medical or clinical field, a police officer, attorney or legislator, etc.
The Mental Health Association in Michigan (MHAM), Michigan State University's Multicultural Business Programs, Broad College of Business, and the City of East Lansing invite you to join us for this in-person event on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00pm, at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center in the Ballroom. Together, we will walk through steps to access the community mental health system. Bring your questions and be ready to receive answers and have discussion.
