Webinar | The Power of Resiliency to Heal Trauma, Build Mental Health, and Restore Functioning

Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Resiliency research reveals three primary factors in building resiliency to overcome adversity and stress. Most important is the development of relational connection that communicates that one is loved, valued, wanted and cared for. Such connections mitigate isolation and self deprecation that often lead to depression. Second, is mastery/efficacy that provides experiences of success that enhance esteem and build motivation decreasing the risk of mental health disorders. Third, is the ability to regulate affect which increases executive functioning that is essential in rewiring the brain.
