MI Kids Now Engagement Session
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has launched the “MI Kids Now” initiative, a statewide effort to improve access to behavioral health services for Medicaid-eligible children and youth. MDHHS is required to develop a comprehensive implementation plan by December 1, 2021, that will improve the delivery of behavioral health services to Medicaid-eligible children. Families, providers and stakeholders will have an opportunity to provide input and feedback. We are at an important point with the MI Kids Now initiative, and MDHHS would like to schedule feedback forums, which will be critical to helping with planning and implementation. We anticipate the forums will take approximately 45 minutes, and we will soon get details regarding the format and questions. In the interim, we would like to get the forum scheduled so we can be sure to share feedback by November 15. The meeting will be focused on gathering insights from participants.
