Welcome to the first issue of our new monthly newsletter, designed to inform you about public policy actions with mental health implications for your lives.  The Mental Health Association in Michigan (MHAM) is the state’s oldest advocacy organization for
persons experiencing or at risk of mental illness (now in our 80th year).

Throughout our history, we have been widely noted as the state’s leading public policy analysis-and-advocacy agency regarding mental health issues.
